Software Entrepreneurship Project

This project-oriented course provides students with an opportunity to apply skills acquired throughout their curriculum in order to conceive and launch a software product or service using the principles of "lean start- ups". The course will introduce the basic principles and techniques of lean startups including:

• Discovering customer problems
• Defining a "value proposition" for a product/service
• Validating a value proposition
• Translating product vision into an initial prototype
• Attracting customers and creating demand
• Articulating a business model
