- 24-Jan-2014 -- This year's exam problems have now been posted in the 'Exams' section.
- Good news (follow-up) -- After having completed the marking of parts 1 and 3 of exam 2, I can tell that all students who took exam 2 last Friday will successfully pass the course. I hope to complete the marking of part 2 by the end of this week. As soon as I have finished marking, I will post the marks and the final grades on the course web under section 'Grading'.
- 19-Jan-2014 -- The grading of exam 1 is now complete. A listing with the marks and grades is available at https://courses.cs.ut.ee/2013/SE/fall/Main/Grading (see file 'marks-pdf').
- Good news -- After having completed the marking of parts 1 and 3 of exam 1, I can tell that all students who took exam 1 last Friday will successfully pass the course. I hope to complete the marking of part 2 by the end of this week. As soon as I have finished marking, I will post the marks and the final grades on the course web under section 'Grading'.
- 10-Jan-2014 and 17-Jan-2014 -- A listing with the marks of all 137 students enrolled in the course, sorted according to student id, at https://courses.cs.ut.ee/2013/SE/fall/Main/Grading (see file 'marks-pdf'). This file also indicates the exam date you have registered for. The good news is that 130 out of 137 students qualified for the exam with 40+ marks.
- 10-Jan-2014 and 17-Jan-2014 -- Please remember that all of you who qualify for the final exam (30 or more marks in the labs) have to register for either Jan 10 (exam 1) or Jan 17 (exam 2) through the Student Information System. If you don't register, you will not be allowed to take the exam. You must register at least 24 hours before the exam date. You can only register for one of the two dates offered. In order to not fail the course, you must get at least 10 (out of 30) marks in the final exam. Thus, not registering/participating in the exam will automatically result in a grade 'F' - no matter how many marks you received in the labs.
- 06-Dec-2013 -- Please remember that tomorrow (Dec 06) will be the last lecture. I will finish up last week's lecture materials and then give an overview of the topics relevant for the final exam. The slides have been posted. Please come to the lecture, in particular if you wish to ask questions.
- Please also remember that the deadline for submitting lab task 7 is approaching. The assessment/evaluation of the submitted task 7 solutions will take place in the labs of week 16 (i.e., during Dec 16-20). Recall that all members of a team must be present during their assessment/evaluation session.
- There will be no labs in week 15 (next week), if your lab assistants haven't made any other arrangements with you.

- 04-Oct-2013 -- Ivo Mägi and Priit Liivak will deliver Lecture 5 on 'Development Infrasctructure' (Part 1). This lecture will be very practical and is related to Lab task 3. Ivo will explain many of the tools typically used in professional software development. Thus, I highly recommend attending this lecture.
