General Information
The aim of this course is to introduce a variety of research topics from the fields of Coding Theory. Participation in the seminar is recommended to Bachelor or Master's students who consider specializing in this area. Taking Introduction to Coding Theory (MTAT.05.082) beforehand is advised, but not strictly required.
Format
A student will be required to do a small research project on the topic of his/her choice. He/she will also be required to write and present a research report. This work is evaluated by PASS or FAIL grade and gives 3 EAP.
The research topics are taken from various cutting-edge fields in a general area of coding theory. They have a potential to be extended to a Master's or Ph.D. Thesis.
