VR Live Racing for RC Cars

This project aims to create a live feed for people who want to spectate rally drivers at RCSnail.

I'm using a single hella wide 220 degree fisheye lens camera to get coverage of the whole racetrack.
First order of business is to calibrate/find the parameters of the camera. I'm using a chessboard for that. Here is an image of me holding a chessboard. (It's not as easy as it looks(read:I took like a 100 pictures))

I've been working on the live feed part. It has proven to be more difficult than expected since camera is in 4k and my monitor is only 1080p. Also I've tested calibration with multiple libraries to find out which one runs the fastest.

The final result is using WebGL and shaders and looks like this.

As you can see the lines are preyyt straight compared to the beginning.
