Prequisite example
Before taking this class, you have to be familiar with object-oriented programming. If you have learned Java or C# in another course not listed under prerequisite courses, read the following example. Only if you fully understand what the code does and know each keyword, such as class, protected, static, private, final, void and new, without using Google or AI, then you are ready for this class. Write to the teacher to be registered for the course.
class Entity {
protected int health = 100;
}
class Player extends Entity {
static int playerCount = 0;
private String name;
private final int maxHealth = 100;
Player(String name) {
this.name = name;
playerCount++;
}
public void damage(int amount) {
health -= amount;
System.out.println(name + " took " + amount + " damage");
}
public static void showPlayers() {
System.out.println("Players: " + playerCount);
}
}
public class Main {
public static void main(String[] args) {
Player player = new Player("Hero");
player.damage(25);
Player.showPlayers();
}
}
