Essay Guidelines 2025

Choose an article for an Essay from the provided list, and provide reasoning, why you preferred that choice.'''

  • For double-blind review, your first submission should not reveal your name; we will use either the course-based pseudonyms or some other random IDs. These guidelines will be shared later.
  • Make a schedule for reading the article and writing the summary. Moreover, you need to create a schedule to prepare slides (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint, LaTeX Beamer) for the presentation about the paper.
  • Guidelines for writing a review of another person writing (we will set up a double-blind review).

For the first submission, make it already as good as possible. This makes reading easier and allows for later changes to be smaller. The final submission will be the one that will be graded. Upload the PDF version of your essay on the homework submission page.

You will read and provide feedback to two other students:

The goal is to refine your writing based on feedback.
