Student Sessions


Poster Session-What is it about

The poster session will be a forum for PhD students (the session itself is not restricted to PhD students) to present and discuss their research. A poster should be an extended abstract of the ongoing research, stating the problems, results (if any) and contribution. Please consider the following options:

  • Poster is in Portrait mode, A0 or A1.
  • It is ok to bring a poster you have prepared for one or another conference/seminar/workshop
  • Poster submission deadline is 8th of August and should be sent to e-mail esscass@ut.ee. We will organize the printing of the poster for you!


Student talks

We will also have several PhD students presenting their research in a seperate session.

This year talks will be given by Kristjan Julius Laak, Alireza Akhavi Zadegan, Kristiina Rahkema and Hendrik Šuvalov.
