20th Estonian Summer School on Computer and Systems Science (ESSCaSS 2023)
The University of Tartu Institute of Computer Science invites you to participate in the 20th Estonian Summer School on Computer and Systems Science (ESSCaSS 2023).

Poster sessions
There are Selected talks and Poster sessions planned. The main aim of these activities is to get participants actively involved in shaping the summer school. We hope these sessions are especially important to PhD students to improve their skills in presenting their topic, managing daily tasks more effectively, and sharing essential information.

Important Dates
- Early bird registration: 13th June
- Late registration last deadline: 6th August
- Poster abstract submission deadline: 7th August
The participation fee is 210 EUR for early bird and 270 EUR later. Fee includes:
- the lectures and school materials,
- all catering and events related to summer school
Housing in Tartu has been reserved and will be recommended but the cost has to be covered by participants themselves.
Most organisations, like Institute of Computer Science, University of Tartu, will pay the fees of all their PhD students and employees in bulk, please contact your supervisors. In some cases there are special funding sources like doctoral schools etc available for that.
In case of a justified need, please contact organisers for the possibility of getting scholarships to partially cover the fee.
MSc/BSc students interested in research are also welcome to participate in the summer school and may get registration support from their own university. If in doubt, contact your university or supervisor for funding opportunities. University of Tartu students can contact esscass@ut.ee .
