About

Student Startup Camp is a practical course to entrepreneurship designed to provide participants with the right mindset, tools and confidence needed in order to see, assess and shape opportunities of launching new technology related businesses.

This program features several experienced and established entrepreneurs from Estonia and abroad who collaborate to create a intensive hands-on weeklong learning experience.

The structure of the course favours teamwork, practical experience and one-on-one mentoring, aiming for all shared know-how to be applicable directly to projects being worked on to ingrain new knowledge.

It's aimed at

  • students with background of development, marketing, business and design, who are interested in developing new venture ideas and want to gain practical knowledge on what it takes turn ideas into fundable business opportunities.

During the course participants will be able to

  • Explore the entrepreneurial mindset and culture that has been developing and thrilling Estonia and the world of technology past decades
  • Examine the entrepreneurial process from generating and determining the feasibility of ideas to executing.
  • Acquire practical experience of assessing business opportunity, product and market fit
  • Acquire strategies for executing products with minimal resources including designing minimal viable product and using different rapid application development techniques and resources
  • Experience the dynamics of participating on a team and the power inherent in a team relative to individual effort.
