Practice Plan
The internship plan describes what learning goals the student sets for himself/herself and how, where and under whose guidance they plan to achieve them.
The internship plan is prepared by the student together with the supervisor of the internship base and coordinated with the university internship coordinator. It is necessary to make sure that the selection of the internship base, the topic of the internship, learning objectives are suitable for your curriculum. The internship plan is signed by the student, the representative of the internship base, the supervisor of the internship base, and submitted to the internship coordinator for signing. The supervisor of the internship base may also represent the internship base if he or she has the right to sign documents for the company.
Tips for completing the internship plan:
- Practice topics
- The internship project(s) in which the internship will take place should be described.
- The plan should also describe your 'responsibilities' and 'roles' .
- Some examples:
- Do you work alone or in a team?
- What is your main role in the team compared to others?
- Do you work in the office or remotely?
- Some examples:
- Learning Objectives
- Learning objectives should be specific. They must not be too general or written as activities.
- Specific curriculum-related skills/competences that will be applied and further developed during the internship should be identified.
- In addition, general learning objectives should also be considered, not just technical ones.
- They should be written in such a way that it is possible to analyze later (when writing the report) how well these learning objectives have been achieved.
- Planned work tasks and their schedule
- The schedule does not have to be very precise if the exact content of the internship is not yet in place. But you should give an overview of the planned weekly or by-weekly activities.
- If the work is planned in an Agile way and it is not possible to know weekly schedule ahead of time, Student should describe this arrangement.
