Account
Log in to with your UT credentials to get account.
Join channel
- Joining public channel
Under channels, click 'browse XXX more channels', use filter to search specific channel and click '+' to join
- Joining private channel
Channel owner will add you with your email address and the channel will appear automaticallu under your channels.
If you have a lot of channels, click three ellipsis 
and select 'pin channel to top' or if you don't want notifications from specific channel, select 'Mute channel'
Account settings
Under personal settings, select which notifications you would like to receive. You can set up general preferences and also preferences for specific channels, select 'Customize a channel' and choose preferred channel and specific types of notifications you would like to receive.
