Title: Usefulness of asynchronous secure computation
Abstract:
Secure multi-party computation security models make assumptions about how the computational hosts and communication channels behave. Real world implementations work in a particular model and therefore it is preferable to prove the security of such implementations in a realistic model. Recently, we have looked at the security of Sharemind protocols in an asynchronous communication model. The talk will discuss this issue and also shed some light on how asynchronicity is handled in a malicious model.
