Title: The use of double bases in elliptic curve cryptography (joint work between researchers from the University of Calgary and Aalto University, Finland)
Slides: Dimitrov_slides2
Abstract:
In the previous talk, a brief introduction to the use double and multiple-base number repesentations and their potential use in different domains has been presented. The new talk is a continuation of the one given last week and will contain:
a) applications in elliptic curve cryptography, most specifically, speeding-up point multiplication over the so-called Koblitz curves.
b) some concrete details about the implementation and timings
c) outstanding open problems
