How to use C++ with a Linux virtual machine?

  • We provide a virtual machine with the software necessary for the development and compilation of lab programs installed.
    • Size 6 GB.
    • Compilers: g++ 6.3 and clang++ 3.8.
    • Programming environments: Qt Creator 4.2.0 and Code::Blocks.
    • GNU Make, gdb and gprof.
    • Doxygen and Valgrind.
    • The base system is Debian 9.6 (stretch).
  • Virtual machine image (1.9 GB): (ova)
    • To use the virtual machine, the image must be imported in the virtualization software.
    • VirtualBox > File > Import Appliance... > cpp2019v2.ova
    • The password for 'user' is 'qwerty'.
