Secure Programming Techniques
- Code: MTAT.07.015 (3 EAP)
- Lectures: Either online or saved Zoom videos. Fridays 12:15-14:00. Zoom link will be sent by e-mail.
- Lecturers: Margus Freudenthal, Mart Oruaas
- Homework: four exercises, 40 points in total. Seminar talk: 10 points.
- Exams: written exam, 50 points.
Scoring (total 100 points):
- Homework exercises give 40 points in total.
- Successful seminar presentation is 10 points
- Written exam is 50 points.
Format of the exam:
- Physical, written exam.
- The exam times are in ÕIS (07.06 and 14.06). The exam will be in Tallinn and Tartu. The Tallinn exam is in ICT-A2. The Tartu exam rooms are in ÕIS.
- You can bring 1 A4 (two-sided) of hand-written notes.
The exam questions have two types:
- Explaining the main concepts covered in the course, explaining when is some concept/technique applicable, what are the properties of different techniques/technologies.
- Exercises: typically description of a situation in which you need to analyze what tool/approach would be the best, what are the potential issues with some approach, etc.
