Every day, we rely on AI to make decisions for us. But how do you know if you can trust them?
- Who benefits the most from what we see in our social media feeds?
- How can we explain a self-driving car’s malfunction that led to an accident?
- What kind of vulnerabilities might facial recognition software have?
We think you’d find our two upcoming courses interesting. They aren’t ready yet, but we’d like to trust you to test the alpha versions.
What?
MinnaLearn has partnered with TU Delft, UCD Dublin, Erasmus University Rotterdam, and the University of Tartu to create two exceptional online courses on trustworthy AI. That means artificial intelligence’s transparency, fairness, explainability, resilience, and privacy.
For whom?
The two courses can be studied together or independently:
- Introductory: Components and purpose of trustworthy AI
Engage in using AI for a fair society and trustworthy products. For people with basic knowledge of AI and it’s everyday applications.
- Advanced: Methods and tooling for trustworthy AI
Get the must-have understanding for tomorrow’s AI jobs. For people familiar with some of the underlying principles, methods, and tools for implementing AI in practice.
Why?
European Union’s AI act is about to be released soon. Every business using AI needs to know what trustworthy AI is and how to build it. If you want to stay informed about the developments, now is the time to understand the fundamentals.
Once we release these courses, they’ll cost money. By participating in the alpha test, you' get early access to the latest version of the content for free. Your feedback will directly guide the development of the leading courses on trustworthy AI.
As a gesture of appreciation, everyone who tests a course and provides feedback will receive a free license to the course when it’s released, including a certificate of completion.
When?
You’ll get access to the content from Wednesday, 5 April, until Friday, 21 April, during which we expect you to submit all your feedback.
You can take one or both of the courses. We estimate each to take about 5–10 hours to study.
How?
We sincerely think the courses are at a stage that genuinely educates and delights you. However, they aren’t yet on the level of quality we demand from our course released to the public. That means you’ll most likely encounter unclear bits of content and other inconsistencies. The courses have no exercises or illustrations yet.
We expect you to write your short thoughts for each section and submit a feedback survey.
