Projects

The project aims to use your spatial data analytic skills to explore a dataset, discover mobility patterns in data, and critically analyze available approaches.

Important dates:

  • Team formation (team size is 1 - 3 students) until 20 February
  • Intermediate presentations 20 March
  • Final presentations 15 May
  • Final report submission 29 May

Possible topics:

  • Select a high-quality scientific publication (in Nature, Science, etc.) with a public dataset and explore alternative approaches to the same research question.
  • Use Kaggle or other available datasets and define your research question.

Outcome:

  • Intermediate presentation - 10%
  • Final presentation - 40%
  • Final report (6 pages) - 50%
