The presentation will be around 5 to 10 minutes max. You have to prepare slides that should answer the following questions.

  • For Literature Review/ Research Paper:
    • Title of your project
    • Your name
    • Research question(s) that you defined, and you will try to find answer(s) to them in the literature.

    • The names of your team members
    • Research questions or objectives of your project
    • Initial plan or vision of how you will solve your problem or achieve your objectives.
  • Week 5 (Oct 11th) - Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

  • Week 7 (Oct 25th) - Special Topic " Traffic Estimation & Modeling " - Guest Lecturer Mr. Joonas Puura, from Bolt.
    • The topic includes traffic estimation and traffic modeling, as well as how machine learning and data science techniques facilitate the methodologies.

  • Week 8 (Nov 1st) - Projects Presentations:

The presentation will be around 10 minutes max. You have to prepare slides that should answer the following questions.

  • For Literature Review/ Research Paper:
    • Previously you showed:
      • Title of your project
      • Your name
      • Research question(s) that you defined, and you will try to find answer(s) to them in the literature.
      • Your strategy with respect to collecting information in the literature.
    • Now you need to add:
      • Your final plan with respect to the strategy of selecting the papers
      • How many categories were identified
      • Your progress so far in finding answers to your research questions
  • For Application project:
    • Previously:
      • Title of your project
      • The names of your team members
      • Research questions or objectives of your project
      • Initial plan or vision of how you will solve your problem or achieve your objectives.
    • Now you need to add:
      • Team organization
      • System design
      • Technology adopted
      • Your progress so far with the implementation
  • Week 9 (Nov 8th) - Traffic Flow

The presentation will be 15 minutes max and 5 minutes questions. Please prepare slides that contain at least the following:

  • Objectives/Research Questions/ Hypothesis
  • Research Metholdogy/System design/Algorithms
  • Results and discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Week 15 (Dec 15th and 20th) - Final Exam
  • Project Report
  • The deadline for submitting the project report is 31st December at 23:59:59
