Assignments and grading

The grading will be based on the following items:

  • Assignments during the first 4 weeks (15 points)
  • UI design project (75 points)
    • Continuous reports (10 points per report)
    • Introductory presentation (10 points)
    • Final presentation (15 points, incl. peer evaluation)
  • Final project report (10 points)

The resulting score (out of 100) will be mapped to the following grades:

  • A: 100 – 91
  • B: 90 – 81
  • C: 80 – 71
  • D: 70 – 61
  • E: 60 – 51
  • F: 50 – 0

A grade higher than F (more than 50 points), participation in both project presentations and the submission of the final report are required to pass the course. For assignments that are handed in after the presented deadline 50% of the points will be deducted per day. There is no option to redo assignments or project presentations but there is an option to redo the final project report.

During the first lecture we will explain all organizational aspects of the course in detail. The course will be held in English.
