Info

This course aims to prepare students for programming contests, specifically ACM ICPC and IEEEXtreme.

We will meet once a week throughout the semester. There will be a lecture component where overview of an algorithm is given, followed by some practice examples. Students without the pre-requisites will need to demonstrate that they have already learned the material elsewhere, or be willing to learn it as the course proceeds. Participants will be expected to participate in a programming related competition within one year of the course.

For some sessions the problemsets are hosted in a codeforces group. In order to be able to submit your solutions to these problems you must:

  1. Log in with your codeforces account
  2. Register yourself as a participant (not spectator) in that group)
  3. For upcoming sessions, register yourself for the relevant contest

Tutors: Oliver-Matis Lill, Yauhen Yakimenka
