Abstract
A chatbot (or an Artificial Conversational Entity to sound cooler) for new, in development, study system ÕIS 2 ois2.ut.ee.
Why & what
For one Chatbots are great at customer service, handling simple to very complex requests. In ÕIS 2 context the bot could be used to ask information about my academic progress and all information around it, send reminders, make smart suggestions and more, inside your favourite environment, like WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger. The chatbots front-end functionality can also be placed to ut.ee main page and be sort of a “continues project” emphasising machine learning.
We have very well documented and usable APIs now and that should make ÕIS 2 very development friendly. The documentation can be reached here: https://ois2.ut.ee/doc/
