Javascript Adapter for STACC Recommendation System

Background
STACC has built a AI-based recommendation system that helps to guide web-users towards the items that are relevant to them. For example: it shows you newspaper articles that fit your profile, recommends you items that you might want to buy, gives you job-openings that might fit your profile. In this project, you will have an opportunity to enhance the current solution.
Why?
The current Web-environment and recommendation system need to communicate with each other. Currently, we are using API to make a connection but it needs heavy involvement of developers. Javascript adapter would make the usage of recommendation system as easy as using Google analytics.
What?
In this project, you will develop a Javascript snippet that is able to send user events (clicks, add-to-cart, purchase) with item information and show recommendations in website.
Conditions
The work will be open-source. STACC team will guide throughout the project so that you would have clear understanding of how our recommendation system and API works.
Benefits
Partial-time workplace in STACC-office, Monetary bonus to each team member if the team is able to achieve the outcome (300-700 €, depending on the outcome quality).
