Shared task and Labs
The practical part of this course is a project consisting of a shared task: you split into teams of 2-3 people and each team works with the same language pair and the same training corpora to produce a machine translation system of as good quality as possible.
There will also be some lab sessions, helping you to get started. These will happen on Mondays at 12:15 in Liivi 2 - 611.
Most of the work and communication is done through GitHub.
