Homework 4: Differential privacy

The homework tasks can be found here (last update: 30th March 2026).

Version updates:

  • 30.03.26: the first version uploaded.
  • 09.04.26: minor updates in the tasks 1.C and 4.3, 4.4. It is fine to solve these tasks as in the initial version, but the updated ones should be more clear.

Additional terms:

  1. The homework is individual. You are expected to do your own thinking.
  2. Write a document, where you _explain_ how the answers were obtained.
  3. The document can be presented in any format, including scanned handwriting.
  4. You can present the solution a week earlier (by the April 8th) to get the initial feedback and be able to resubmit an improved solution.
  5. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the lecturer.

Deadline: April 15th, 2026, 23:59 EEST.
