Arvutimängude loomine ja disain 2021/22 sügis

The aim is to create an immersive but spooky escape room like experience that tests the wits and nerves of our players. You wake up after a mysterious night in a local bar. Suddenly you are chained in a dark basement in an unknown building, missing all your personal belongings. You begin looking for an escape route. The world has a lot of hidden items, which can be picked up. Doors can be opened. While moving in the dark, you might run into various traps. As time goes by, your batteries run out. There are more spooky rooms and less light. The escape route seems unreachable. Players must hurry up, as the light sources are limited. The players' goal is to uncover the mystery and escape to freedom. In order to progress, the player must solve puzzles and progress through environmental hazards. Some game sequences require the player to beat the situation in a given time frame. In those sequences, it is possible to lose by failing to do so.

The main focus of this milestone was getting things together with minor refactoring and adding new necessary gameplay mechanics. Started developing initial gameplay elements.
