The Mountain Deep
The Mountain Deep is an RPG in a very familiar fantasy setting, where the player selects a dwarven ruler who has set goals, limits and quirks. The player has a pool of resources which they can use to develop their mountain kingdom and react to the events that arise.
As the game progresses, so does the player's kingdom, unlocking new riches and materials to their disposal. Events will start to unfold, which will either aid, hinder or even undo the player. The player must balance their kingdom's needs with the threats facing them in order not to be wiped out. If the player's dwarves all die, they lose.

The current version is a text and choice based RPG, where the only functionality is choosing the player's reaction to the story from a pre-defined selection.

List of features:
- An inventory/treasury system for Artifacts.
- A combat system, allowing for two factions to fight with armies comprising of any soldiers and with a dynamic number of ranged phases preceding a melee combat.
All of these systems tie in with the previous event system.
There is also a WIP building system, allowing the player to construct buildings in the mountain as well as assign dwarves to work in these buildings.

List of features
For this milestone our team worked on improving old features, adding some new gameplay elements and topping it off with final touches!
Main changes:
- Building system was reworked and improved! Player can now select from 6 different buildings that provide different benefits but have their costs as well.
- Underground level unlocking. Some of the mountain deeps are now locked off at the start of the game but cannot wait to be unlocked during the game!
- Wandering dwarves. The mountain population is now wandering around the mountain.
- Saving system. Progress can now be saved!
- More events were added - plenty of decision making ahead!
- Everything is trying to make sounds now...
- Tooltips and information - hopefully the game is easier to navigate :)
