Fishit

Fishit is a 2D fishing game, where the player catches different kinds of fishes,completes challenges and progresses the story by doing that.
Game mechanics:
Riding a boat - In a top-down view you can ride a boat on a lake and look for fishing spots in the map. Rarer fishes which are harder to catch are in the deeper parts of the lake, while fishing near the shore is more easier and faster.
Catching a fish - a side view, where the player can catch a fish by completing various clickable minigames. When the minigames is done successfully, then the fish is caught.

Peer review for Brightdawn game
1. Could make the character unable to leave the world - Right now it is possible to move character so that it goes off my screen. Could add some boundaries that the character can’t get through.
2. Items in inventory could be named - spade, seed etc would make it easier to differentiate when there will be new items coming
3. Maybe adding a guide/tutorial would make it easier. Guide would just explain the controls, what is the main goal and maybe a tip how to reach the goal.
4. Moving around works great, but could consider adding an option where player could also move around using mouse, would make it even easier to move around.
5. In long term could add some more player animations. For example when planting a farmtile, the character could do some kind of animation, instead of the farmtile magically appearing.
6. In game could use a button where you can restart or start a new game. Also could use an option to quit game as well as Exit game whereas quit game would return you to the main menu instead of closing the game completely.
7. Could add an female character as well - it is 2019 afterall :) . This could show up when starting new game - Start game -> character selection -> game world
8. Could show some kind of notification when time is running out. Could be just a text that pops up saying “Hurry up, you only have 1 minute left” or something like that.
New Features:
Added 2 new maps
Added a guide button to main menu which shows the overall instructions
Added different sounds. Now every action should have a sound.
Added backpack where you can see all the fishes caught.
Added a shop where you can buy new boats
Game now remembers the position where you went fishing, instead of always spawning in the centre.
Added a cutscene before selecting level 1
